Meet Dr. Austin:

Dr. Austin was recently named to Newsweek’s’ prestigious list of America’s Best Eye Doctors for 2022 and 2023.

Dr. Austin is the past clinical director at TLC Laser Vision Center and optometrist at the UC Irvine Medical Center department of Ophthalmology. He is a clinical investigator for Bausch and Lomb and Neurolens and is a key thought leader for Lumenis. Dr. Austin has over twenty years of experience treating patients in Orange County . He holds a special interest in refractive surgery, specialty contact lenses and ocular surface disease.

Dr. Austin was the first eye doctor in Orange County to treat dry eye patients with Intense Pulsed light (IPL) and has performed more of these treatments than any other doctor in the county. He is a key thought leader (KOL) for Lumenis and has trained other doctors on IPL treatment for dry eyes.
